Our quarterly discussion series, the Commonwealth Commentary, presents a new perspective on the current events in Massachusetts politics and beyond. From the budget, to health care, to education and the environment, the topics are limitless. Our inaugural season presented Senate President Therese Murray, Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral, and Attorney General Martha Coakley. Most recently, in this past summer's installment, we have also been proud to feature MWPC PAC-endorsed candidates Marjorie Decker, Kathleen O'Connor Ives, and Joan Lovely, all of whom won their respective races and have joined the Massachusetts legislature this year.

The 2013 season's guests will include influential elected officials and notable figures in Massachusetts politics. With the recent shifting of elected officials here in the Commonwealth, there are many newly-elected and appointed women poised to embark upon bright futures in Massachusetts state government. We are looking forward to their unique insights!
